Supported Tools

108 developer tools Room Service knows by name

Each one is a named rule in the app, not a generic folder scan. Find your tool below and see what Room Service cleans, lists, detects, or guards for it.

“Knows by name” means there is a rule in Room Service written for that tool: a cleanup row with the tool’s name on it, a stack badge in Projects, a build watcher that recognizes the process, a running-app guard, or a tool-native removal command. It is not a scan that flattens everything into “Caches”. Where a tool is guarded, its rows are refused while it runs, so a cleanup never pulls files from under an open app.

How to read this list

  • A tool that is not listed gets no special handling. Its files may still show up in generic categories such as app caches or large files, but without a rule written for that tool.

  • “Guards while it runs” means Room Service refuses the tool’s rows while the tool is open, with a message like “Xcode is running. Quit it first, then try again.”

  • Nothing is pre-selected. Move to Trash is the default, and with Quarantine on (the default) the toast after a cleanup offers Undo Delete.

  • Scans, risk labels, and the Docker preview are free. Moving rows to the Trash, Docker prune, and the Projects workspace with its stack badges need Pro.
